I've heard back from all the people who I applied for jobs with and I did not get any of them. Time for plan B. I just need to work out what that is first ...

Goodness, is that the time? Somehow whenever I've thought about sitting down to blog lately the energy to do so has been completely lacking. I seem to be surfacing now from a few months of perpetual exhaustion. Well, I had a lovely weekend with the old flame. I was reminded of why I was attracted to him, way back when, but I was also reminded of why it didn't last. Nice to spend time with a friend, technology is wonderful for those old connections, but perhaps some things are meant to stay in the past?

Just in case you're wondering I caved some time ago on the whole facebook thing. A couple of you even found me over there. It's amazing who you do come across. People you haven't spoken to since primary school. Someone you once spent a week with in Spain. I recently got an e-mail from an Arts program which I have been a member of for some years. It's over a year since I returned to Australia and I can't decide whether I want to stay settled or pick up and do something different. I love my job, I really enjoy working with the people there and every day there is something different to tackle, but there really isn't any room to 'move up' in my field if I stay here. Tried to visit the sheep station this weekend but was rained out. Dad was thrilled, all the dams are full, but mum and I were stuck in town. I had taken a friend visiting from OS to see the Outback so she got the local cultural delights instead.
